Dimitris Gavrilis is a Scientific Associate at the Digital Curation Unit (DCU) of Athena Research Centre. He holds a B.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science, both from the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering, University of Patras. His research interests include information systems, knowledge management, pattern recognition and machine learning. He designed and was in charge for developing the Mopseus digital library system as well as the MORe aggregator. He has participated in numerous projects such as CARARE, Preparing DARIAH, EHRI, 3D-ICONS, LoCloud, ARIADNE, DYAS (DARIAH-GR) and DSI.
